Its all about the basket of deplorables, its not race, black or white doesn't matter. its a class thing, like carlin said, they want us just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, double, hell, triple taxation is a real thing.
the shit will hit the fan one day, and they will want us on that wall, They need us on that wall!

Remember when the entire aristocracy in France got their fucking heads chopped off? That is their biggest fear and they are doing their damndest to make sure that history doesn't repeat itself once again. You and I both know we have an American aristocracy that needs to get deaded. It's just a matter of time before all of us on the outside looking in (black, white, green, purple, blue, yellow, color doesn't matter) get a bait of their bullshit and go all in. It's inevitable. History shows us that IT WILL HAPPEN.

Agreed.

We still won so we own the land.
Nope!

Yankees got the Confederate military to surrender. The Confederate government was captured...and released... without any charges. The Confederate government never surrendered, so it still exists, albeit without a body politic.

Lookup the New York Times obituary for Adam Jacoby Slemmer shortly after the war concluded. It proudly boasts that Brigadier General Slemmer ordered the first shots fired in hostility as his US Troops fired upon approaching Florida Confederate troops as they attempted to garrison Fort Pickens in Pensacola. The company of US Troops abandoned Fort Barancas (it was under a US lease) and illegally seized Fort Pickens (an old War of 1812 Star Fort) from the Confederate State of Florida on February 8, 1861, months before Fort Sumter. The next day (February 9, 1861) the Confederates responded with The Citadel Cadets firing on the Star of West resupply ship.

Slemmer was promoted from Lieutenant straight to Brigadier General. He also had a new Washington DC perimeter defensive fort named in his honor for starting the war Lincoln wanted.

The truth is out there if you bother to search for it. BTW, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky SPECIFICALLY voted NOT to leave the Union over slavery. They left over a state's right to secede per the US Constitution. They were vindicated when each of the Confederate States had to REJOIN the Union after the war, some not doing so until as late as 1870.

Sorry for the history lesson, but some still pass along misinformation. The shooting started a lot sooner than Fort Sumter, but the Yankees chose to portray themselves in a more favorable light than the initial instigator of hostility.

3/4 of a million people died because of Lincoln's need for southern port tariffs to fill the north's coffers. He rebuked peace overtures and thought the fighting would be brief for the superior US military. He guessed wrong, but still got his tariffs in the end, albeit after his death.

And the four slave states remaining in the Union RETAINED their slaves until December 6, 1865 (as did Ulysses S. Grant's family (via wife's side)).

Sorry if I stepped on some Yankee toes, but my father, who is still living, is a grandson of a Gettysburg veteran. Several family members unnecessarily died because of Lincoln's aggression.

Seek help. He still owes rent.

Ahh... That must be more of those Yankee facts. President Jefferson Davis pleaded to be heard in court, but was denied, he was simply released without any charges.

Worked with a guy like you that lived in the south and acted like this. We got a new boss from the north and and the guy from the south asked why he moved from the north to the south and he told him he wanted to see the land his ancestors won. The southern guy was bent out of shape the rest of the day.

Are you afraid of going north of the Mason Dixon line as well?

😄 Apparently not, as I have been up north numerous times. Perhaps I can tell you of my numerous New England ancestors.

North of it sucks ass, and produces shitty football.

Meeting up with you means some good food and drinks.

Its the ones that still think they are fighting the civil war that need to be reminded they lost.
Then there's the ones that still remind everyone that they won so they can feel good about winning something that no one gives a shit about anymore. Congrats? Can we just go get a beer and a good brat and quit giving a shit about all the stupid that our politicians keep trying to focus our attention on?
