The voting booth. Hell, my parents voted democrat forever because that's just what you did in the south (kinda like "if you don't vote for me, you ain't southern" sort of thing) until Jimmy Carter came along and screwed the country 8 ways to Sunday. Lesson learned for them.

So, my point is I guess, that it's hard to change habit and now you have social media and a hostile press in the mix (not to mention all the other players that are out there playing games with our supposed "democracy") and you get the shit we've been getting. It's time for a national awakening and until that happens, we're fucked.

Would you be in favor of having to pass a basic civics test, like we took back in high school, in order to register to vote?
