The Pit of Misery: Politics and Religion

Wilhelm the 2nd's final thoughts of hitler. Sounds kinda eerily familiar.

There's a man alone, without family, without children, without God ... He [Hitler] builds legions, but he doesn't build a nation. A nation is created by families, a religion, traditions: it is made up out of the hearts of mothers, the wisdom of fathers, the joy and the exuberance of children ... For a few months I was inclined to believe in National Socialism. I thought of it as a necessary fever. And I was gratified to see that there were, associated with it for a time, some of the wisest and most outstanding Germans. But these, one by one, he has got rid of or even killed ... He has left nothing but a bunch of shirted gangsters! This man could bring home victories to our people each year, without bringing them either glory or danger. But of our Germany, which was a nation of poets and musicians, of artists and soldiers, he has made a nation of hysterics and hermits, engulfed in a mob and led by a thousand liars or fanatics."

He fvcked himself when Austria dragged Germany into WW1 by fvcking over Serbia. The Austrian army sucked big time and it left Germany holding the bag. With Hitler he was a full blown nutcase for sure, especially towards the end but with that said Hitler was on to something when he called the Bolsheviks the world's #1 enemy. The Bolshevik movement was predominantly Jewish and it got the innocent Jews that weren't involved murdered. Westerners forget that the Holocaust wasn't just a Nazi thing but also Eastern Europeans in general who murdered Jews after Operation Barbarossa. They went after the Jews because of the revenge factor.

What you should do, for your employees, is come out with an apology. Something like:

We fucked up. We made a huge error in judgement when we sponsored Dylan Mulvaney. And what's worse is that we doubled down on it. We lost sight of who our customer base is, and for that we are sorry. We have learned from this, the hard way. And this is a mistake we will never make again.

That's what you should do if you care about your employees. Not trying to shame your customers into ending the boycott.

Fvck that company. They would do it again if they thought they could get away with it.
