Interesting article. It appears Iran bought stolen DNA data from 23andme DNA company data breach in August. It included Jewish families in Israel, names and addresses. Hamas may have had specific targets (and their proven relatives) when they invaded. Anybody you know that uses 23andme needs to be aware their data is likely on the "dark web". They should change their password, if they can still can. I don't use this DNA company, so I'm good.

23andme has ties to pharmaceutical companies as they began as a health check company (search for bad DNA markers (propensity for cancer, etc.)). They later jumped into genealogy research.
