I realize it now. These hypocrites don't give one single damn about God, or whomever they think God is.

They bow down and worship Trump. This is not even about politics. If Trump shot your mothers/fathers in the head you would cheer for it. Sick cult.

Do I think it's kind? No.
Do I think it's an apt, accurate description? Yes.
Do I regret saying it? No.
Does it make my a hypocrite? No.
I AM a Christian and I am also human. You seem to take a liberal atheist's view of Christianity, which is all Christians are to be coddling, pacifist beatniks who always take it on the chin and never have any opinion that could ever be construed as mildly critical, much less offensive, and anything less is evidence of hypocrisy and therefore, they can be dismissed and hated, and you can sleep better at night. Sorry, but that mainstream casual weaponization of ignorance is part of the reason the world has gone to shit today.

Ilhan Omar is an objectively TERRIBLE person. She is a vile, repulsive serial liar, a wretch, a law breaking, Islamic supremacist who uses extreme rhetoric and exploits tragedies and covets power. Now, because she is an awful person (to put it as mildly as possible), I can and will for simplicity's sake, refer to her as a cunt.

Now the true, right Christian take should be that I pray for her...hope she sees the error of her ways. Try and treat her with kindness on top of respect if I ever encountered her, knowing she would not do the same. That I not unfairly persecute her or castigate her, etc. It never said I cannot judge her. And before you espouse "Judge not, lest ye be judged", or "Vengeance is mine" or quote Christ's parable about the beam and the splinter, let me remind you that as an atheist you're ignorant about actual meaning of judgment, and you're repeating a 6th grader's logic. God wants us to JUDGE, because there is actually good and bad, right and wrong, truth and lies, virtuous and perverse, etc. God doesn't want us thinking ourselves better or casting dispersions on others unfairly. But neither does he want us to accept and tolerate deviancy or dishonesty or violence, etc. And it ain't easy! MOST of us fail, daily, to live as we should, that is what makes us human, and sinners, but, we try our best in every small thing to be better. Do not be blind to your own hubris, do not mistake your desire to be inoffensive as virtuous, your weak niceness and being good. You think standing by idly and saying we shouldn't judge a criminal committing assault and robbery because of his race would make you better than someone who says a slur when he knocks out the criminal who is committing the crime because it's the right and heroic thing to do? You'd have done nothing but virtue signal, not accomplishing anything truly good in the world, while allowing/facilitating something bad, but you'd also cast judgment on the person who rescued another and stopped a crook, because he was mean about it. Well, that guy whom you'd no doubt label a fascist or a bigot did some good for the world. And yes, it's just a hypothetical analogy, but it shows that YOU care more about presentation than substance. Yes, on this board, I say hot take things, but I am not WRONG about my point, merely my delivery. This cite is an avenue/outlet for me to do so. If I ever met Omar, you think I'd assault her, spit on her, curse her? Of course not. But, that doesn't change that she isn't a reprehensible person and if I had a chance to tell her so, I would....respectfully. So, no, no hypocrisy, I'd say what I meant, and, to her, I'd say it politely, but, righteously.
