The Pit of Misery: Politics and Religion

Man, this is a sad day. It seems we've lost some posters, and for what? A disagreement of opinions?
It saddens me that we can not have civil discourse. Shit, this was created just for that purpose. Along
with keeping trolls out. I don't know anyone here who agrees with rioting and looting. Not one person.
I do know some who agree w/ peaceful protests, me being one. It seems they stay until curfew and go
home. If they stay and riot, the protest wasn't their purpose. People were praising the people who were
protesting the stay at home shit, and spitting on the cops, but don't agree with holding a sign in protest?
Is that really it? The constitution applies to everyone, period. Anyway, I will step out so not be be a pussy
or snowflake. I won't run off calling people names...

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

It's amazing how many ways that statement applies in life. I don't have all the answers, and frankly, I know very few of them. I spend most of my time arguing with myself about insignificant shit.

on another note, my nextdoor longhorn neighbor just told me that they're gonna move to Virginia to help their sil look after their 2 small grand kids. Their daughter is a Navy doctor and she's about to be deployed overseas, her youngest is 1 year old. What a bummer they are great neighbors and friends.

Three leaners left over from Michael went down in the last two hours, blocking the street.

One from the left side of the road, one from the right, and one across the middle of each.
