Kyle Edwards spent 1 year at Bama before hitting the portal. Then he spent an entire season IN the portal. The #29 RB in the nation has joined an FCS team in Southeastern Louisiana. Prolly not what he expected 7 months ago.

IMO, we should start looking at things like this because they will become common. Sooner or later these guys will think twice before they roll the dice.

Maybe…. Just look at the qb’s alone, there aren’t enough spots for all of them, and you’ve got a fresh crop of freshmen coming in. These kids are being sold a bill of goods, and they can’t cover the check they’re writing for those goods. Time will tell.

Part of the problem is that the ALL think they are #1 overall draft picks. Probably been told that since middle school.

Oddly enough, I can't find a list of ALL players in the portal. Would be interesting to view the entire list and see how long some have been there. I'd bet there are players that are still in the portal that have been there much longer than Edwards.
