ARKANSAS STATE DARK NIGHT
Head coach Butch Jones is looking for his second win at Arkansas State, but the Red Wolves definitely have the uniforms going for this one. Maybe the all-black can pump Arkansas State up for its huge showdown against Louisiana.

FLORIDA ATLANTIC ALL WHITE
Put the pause button on — the days of Florida Atlantic displaying the Conference USA emblem on its uniforms are slowly dwindling away. This uniform is a classic for FAU. It has the paradise branding on the helmet and honors the late Howard Schnellenberger. Florida Atlantic will visit Charlotte.

TULANE ALL WHITE
The Green Wave of Tulane will be heading to Dallas to take on No. 21 SMU. The Green Wave will be in their all white road uniforms. The “Angry Wave” is one of the more recognizable logos in college football.

SMU BLUES
Many inside and outside of Texas think SMU has the best uniforms in the state. Those “SMU Blues” are always praised in high regards when they hit the gridiron.

SAN JOSE STATE
The 2020 Mountain West Conference champions will be strolling into Las Vegas as they face UNLV. Win or lose, the Spartans will look good.

Going to pay attention to the Tulane game. Thier O line coach Chris Watt is part of ND O line players. He was a GA last year here in S Bend. And a lot of scuttlebutt he might be coming back to take over the O line next year.

Does he have any eligibility left? (Reference to SCAR QB Zeb Nowland who started this season as a GA with the Cocks and looks to finish the season as their starting QB)

He did. I was going back to spring ball when he was actually a GA. He was "activated" during fall practice after Doty went down with an injury. He played HS football for Oconee County, Ga. (Athens).

Yeah, dude was off and running on a start to his coaching career. Probably never had an inkling in his mind that he'd ever play again. Something like that can't have happened very often in the past.

It's the first time I ever heard of it happening.

Cool story, though. He started his CFB career at Iowa State, transferred to NDSU and was the backup there for Trey Lance.

The problem for the ND O line isn't the players. The talent is there. The problem is the coaching. Every player there is 4 star or better. Now mind you they are on 4 different set of starters on the 6th game of the year which is never great. And part of that is injury and part is scheme. But still it really comes down to coaching

Yeah, knew he bounced around a couple places....had heard that during the run-up to and during our game. All in all, it's just a really cool story and he's done a pretty good job. Not any worse than Doty IMO.
