All major truck brands since covid hit have engine and transmission issues, don't sell that 'Taco' cheap. The new Toyota truck engines are junk, like the rest. The covid era government regulations on vehicles pushed too far, too fast.

i did something i usually dont do, I bought the extended warranty and I asked to make sure that it specifically covers the lifters and the timing chain and the transmission.

My 2012 F150 Lariat eco-boost 3.5 is the most expensive vehicle I bought till my wife's 2021 van.

Crazy how much trucks are these days.

Reserved a 2021 Bronco in June of 2020. Dealer order 1/21. ~$40,000 Took delivery 2/22. Lease (1st model year jitters) ended, my lease buy out was $7000 less than the actual value, since it had been flawless, I bought it. A 2 door equipped the same way is a limited edition for $70,000 now...
