I went from trombone, to trumpet, to french horn, again briefly on the french horn.

That thing is a bitch to play; your daughter must be talented. I said to hell with all that when my band director kept wanting me to play at the pep rally and then go to the locker room and grab my football jersey to be with my team.

I also realized going into high school that band was going to keep me from more chances with the wimmins.

There’s more talent there than most know! I played trumpet for 7 years and never made it past 4th chair! Then I found the drums....!!!

I can't play a harmonica to save my life, but I never tried to learn, even though I had a pretty fancy Hohner.

No, she was originally going to, but she's going to school in Colorado. My middle daughter is a JSU grad and played clarinet and marched with the Southerners.
