The second transfer from Florida Tarquin transferred earlier. SC put some work in to build up the offensive line. Added a lot to the front 7 on the defensive side but still needs some work. Wouldn’t mind another DT/NT but I also wouldn’t mind getting completely greedy at WR/TE if there’s any smoke behind some rumors

No doubt SC boosters are spending their money on quality players.

He wanted more playing time as a true freshman. He got some and was not red-shirted by Stoops, but is still raw. I wished he had stayed to develop. Vince Marrow recruited him since the 8th grade before he committed to UK. Unfortunately, I think he has left for far less greener pastures and it also wouldnt shock me to see him in the portal again after UF.

Pretty sure he attended 4 high schools in 4 years before coming to UK. Methinks there's some outside influence there and it's kinda telling that it took him up to the last minute (actually after the registration deadline for the spring semester at UF from what I understand) to find a landing spot. Word was he was going transfer to UL because of his "people", but that didn't even work out for him. Hopefully, for his sake, he can get straight and be a success down the road.

Oh God, glad he didnt transfer to Loserville... If he was considering that he is truly lost.

It's true. Definitely a big loss for UGA. I was expecting to see him put on a show this year. As a true FR, he led UGA with 4.5 sacks. While that doesn't seem like much, keep in mind that Kirby rotates 7-8 DL every game. It appears that Bear wanted more playing time than that.

Some UGA insiders have been saying SC but I’m always weary on insiders I’m not familiar with. What I do know is

SC did recruit him as did their Defensive line coach Shaun Nua when he was at UM.

SC just launched their non profit collective House of Victory the other day. Not sure if that would impact anything

And Bears father was at SC’s spring game. @OldDevilDawg may know more from Bears time at UGA.

Bear would be a massive upgrade to SC’s defensive line especially with Tuli headed to the NFL. Hoping they can somehow land Bear but I don’t want to get my hopes up. We’ll know by the 30th I think that’s when the portal closes again 33C53964-CD35-44B4-ABFE-DDC23301F5FB.jpeg

He can't transfer to an SEC team without sitting out a year. SC is his most likely landing spot.
