Two maps...

I am no fan of sanctuary cities and the whole idea pisses me off regarding them. That being said, I think this probably has more to do with Washington and California having large Asian communities and influence. Can I back this up with data, no. Just a hunch.

So, a board that is overwhelming southern and conservative is gonna rail about a post that is strong in conservative, southern, anti-northeast tones?

Because southerners and conservatives are traditionally anti sanctuary cities and anti-Northeast and West Coast, where the map shows a high concentration of Corona Outbreak. A “gotcha” post as it were.

You want to explain how it would be a problem on rivals when this same exact post is currently in the politics thread? Getting much praise?

As a stand alone thread, it would get locked/and or moved to the politics thread, depending on who was moderating. I think thats what ODD was getting at... it just would not stand on its own before a mod would want to shut it down or move it where they would not have to deal with any BS about it.
 
Well, it got jumped on for being racist and one tried to laff it off as being a dumb meme.

Interesting enuff, as intellectual and highbrow as some like to come off over there, could do nothing but insult.
