UCF never had a QB after George got hired in 2001 until after we began our Rise to Prominence (2007) with transfer Brett Hodges in 2009 then really In Jeff Godfrey We Trust in 2010.

As everyone knows, the 2 QBs who started last year, are out this year due to injuries. Amazingly we still had a very competitive 3 QB race - NDs former starting QB Wimbush, Quadry rs sophomore from Orlando, and Dillon true freshman from MM^2 old Hawaii HS.

Let's just say, I think Notre Dame damaged Wimbushs skills. He is still a year plus of work project. .. but can make plays with his feet

Dillon is by far the best true freshman QB I've seen at UCF.

Quad also looks more than capable as a game manager QB who can hit a few deep balls.

So who do we go with?

I expect Wimbush to start again vs FAU. But by week 3 vs Stanford, Dillon will win the starting position.

Stay tuned, my UCFriends. Drama will surround UCF this season. That is the surest expectation.

You are finding out Wimbush isnt as good as predicted. And somehow it is someone else's fault.

Again. There is a reason even as 13-3 as a starter he was told to graduate and pack his shit because barring catastrophic injury to multiple QBs behind him he would never see the field again. The guy needed an all star effort from the defense to bail him out against Ball State. In his own stadium.

You're the kind of guy that blames a fork for people being fat I imagine
