TCU 30

In OT.

What a finish. Down by three, TCU stupidly gets sacked out of FG range, has to at least get back into FG range, completes a short pass then proceeds to juke by FOUR defenders while tiptoeing the side line, getting back in FG range, getting the first down (needed twenty yards), AND gets the TD and the win!

Wow!

Much better answer.........or...........an answer I can better understand.

I think the biggest thing that most don't understand is the major lawsuit that would happen if the G6 teams were completely locked out as they should be, it would cost the NCAA $BILLIONS$....literally.

I still think it's a horrible look for ND to basically say, "I didn't get what I wanted, so I'm gonna take my ball and go home." That was an incredibly arrogant, incredibly childish, and incredibly foolish decision. Just my opinion.
That’s where I’m at on the ND situation. They get special treatment, demand it, and then criticize those who provide it. Then we find out they have even more special treatment from the CFP. (The B1G lets them play hockey, while the ACC completely bends over for them)

I‘m on a text thread with some friends who all like ND in general, but a couple who choose them as their #1 team have lost their shit.

As one response said, “You wanted to be exclusive, now you’re excluded…”.

I won’t pretend to know the history well enough to say this is the first time that ND got less than it deserved, but there’s at least 10 times that it got more for every time they’ve been wronged.

That was a good game. I thought USC got some bad calls

Im a college football fan. And I want there to be as many games as possible. So I personally 1000% wanted ND to play a bowl. But that is me as Blaine a fan. And I can certainly understand why players decided they didnt want to. They felt they were used as clickbait for weeks to jazz up additional drama and then in the 11th hour told to pound sand. So not playing a bowl took millions away from ESPiN.

Which I think was a cool way to screw them. Them not playing a bowl didnt hurt any other team. And actually helped put GTech in a better bowl then they would have had. And gave the ACC a better payout because of it. The only group hurt in this was the fans that didnt get to see a better game and ESPiN. And Im good with 50% of that ;) as for seeing ND vs BYU. While I cant say for certain who would have won. Because I have no idea who from ND would have played. I think we can all be honest and say ND with all of their projected available players would have made short work of BYU Especially with their key injuries. And as a plus. We will find out next year who the better team is in the regular season.

Tough break for SC. If only ND hadn't been on their schedule this year. They would have certainly played in the Rose Bowl instead ;)

I enjoyed the game except for the last play. It was fun to see all the young guys flying around on defense. The last play sucks and at times the refs got it wrong in my opinion but it was fun to watch. The future looks bright.

These bowl games are basically just exhibition games anyways where the fans have a good time, young guys get playing time, older guys get to go out having some fun.

Can you imagine having a temper tantrum and taking your ball and going home which denies all of this for players and fans.

I lost a few bucks on that game so I may be biased. But it seemed like USC got hosed several times. Lincoln was FIRED UP! Thats a good way to feel @oldyarddog.

BTW, I would have LOVED to see ND vs Vandy in a bowl game if that were possible. That would rival some of the playoff games IMO.
