Last time Minnesota was undefeated this far into the season, they won the National Championship. (1960) "Row the boat" has brought them back from the depths of CFB hell. Fleck has had incredible success everywhere he has coached. When you can do what he's done at a school that spent 60 years as a perennial loser, he's definitely in a position to ask for a substantial raise.

5-7, then 6-6 first two yrs at minnie
with a bowl win agst 7-5 ga tech -
turnin things around this year -
prob lookin at 9-3,
which is damn good,
but a salary in the top 40
still seems about right -
plus he'll be movin up a few notches
with his negotiated 500k/yr standard raise -

75. Brian Kelly 1.67M stands out as WTF... whaddyou think @Irishblooded ?

Kelly is actually closer to about 3.5 to 4 a year.

ND is a private school and doesn't have to report it. The only line you are seeing is off of tax records. Keely also makes money from the Under Armor contract which is about 60% of his annual, then then he receives bonuses depending previous year performance

Thats a disgrace for Kelly. Orgeron is definitely due for a raise. There was a bidding war between Purdue and Louisville for Brohm at the time he was hired.

This. Notre Dame does not disclose Kelly's true full salary.

I simply don't understand Jeff Brohm's salary. Really? Purdue?

Brohm's salary is a bit misleading. His total contract that he signed last year (after he was being courted by Louisville) was for $36.8 million for seven years. The contract pays $5.35 million in year one, $5.65 million in year two, but those two years include signing and other retention bonuses. After that the contract falls back down to around $4 million per year with increases of about $100,000 in base salary per year through 2024.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Still too low though, right?
