No way FSU stays close to ND.

Norvell won big in the portal. He's got big time weapons all over the field that have experience on the field. Many of them in the SEC. It's game one. Whoever starts at QB for ND is gonna be getting a shitload of pressure from Jermaine Johnson. The potential is there for FSU to have a really good season (8-9 wins).

ND is replacing 4 starters on the o-line and their long time starter at QB. And their prominent DC.

ND will win because of depth, but FSU should be able to keep it within a 10 point spread.

I talked to my Ohio St fan buddy yesterday and he said they have three QBs competing for the starting job that have never played a snap in CFB, but stated they are all three awesome Qbs and he is not worried. That would scare the hell out of me if my team annually had expectations at a shot for the Natty. I dont keep up with the BIG10 much I guess.

Well, they open up with Minnesota, followed by Oregon, then Tulsa. Minnesota is not a pushover, and I think Oregon beats them. If the new QB matures enough by then, they could be in ok shape. If not I can see them being 1 -2. OSU got spanked by Bama, but they also list a lot of production due to the nfl draft. I think it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Day has shown that he can do a good job of making a QB look better than he is. Now he's got 3 to choose from, and ALL of them could start at many other programs. I, too, think they lose to the Ducks. Cristobal has achieved an SEC level talented defense. Even those that claim that today's CFB doesn't need defense, just more offense......they understand that just a few stops can change the game.

Meh, I’ll wait till Day actually loses a regular season game before giving A PAC 12 team a win on a noon kickoff in the east Coast.
