What are you eating?

I'm doing a baked Salmon ( I make a paste of seasoned bread crumbs, honey, mustard, and lemon juice). I bake it at 400 degrees and it forms a crust. French cut green beans and a small salad fill out the meal.

Sourdough, almost put mayo and mustard on it but just went with mustard, warmed up some Pastrami and pickles.....

Yummy.

As i have mentioned before in another thread. A lot of my old co-workers moved to Tennessee and absolutely love it.

Grandkids and the beach are keeping me here in So. Cal.,but della’s cooking is making the move tempting.

She would have to post REAL pics of her cooking before her cooking would be in the conversation if I were you. As far as we know she is microwaving frozen Tostitos pizza due to lack of pics. Her stock photos of Lobster bisque may actually be a bowl of fruity pebbles IRL. LOL

Spinach, kale, green cabbage, cucumbers, spicy pickles croutons, bacon bits with garlic basil vinegarette

Had an early lunch of 2 good sized chicken tacos with guac, shredded cheese, Herdez avocado salsa/sauce with red Ortega taco sauce. Ate them over a couple tortillas to absorb all the juicy goodness and then ate the said juicy tortillas with their drippings.

So good.

Tonight we had chicken piccata served over pasta. This is one of my family's favs.

20260501_195543.jpgCuban sammich, fries, deep fried pickles and a beer.

Happy Friday!!!!

I had two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at 7 pm in a tractor. To go along with the two ham sandwiches I had at noon, in a tractor.

I will be Sunday grillin on charcoal as a couple of my wife's family members will be stopping by this afternoon. Just burgers and dogs, but my daughter likes the Boar's Head hotdogs, and they are pretty good. Adding some tater salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Never tried Boar's head hotdogs, didn't know they made dogs.

A little pricey but my teenage daughter is all about organic, no nitrates, all fruits and veggies, blah, blah... At least she is not a vegetarian. But this girl can devour a Rib-eye! Ive been actually losing a few pounds due to her! No fast food here so it kind of works out financially too.

Tell her Nitrates are naturally occurring, and organic is just a buzz word marketing ploy. Spend more, for in some instances, sub par food.
Getting away from the fast and processed food is the best thing to do.
And of course, eat beef. (A little shameless plug never hurts)
😁

Wife made some bacon.....that wasn't enough for me so I opened a can of Campbell's bean and bacon soup. Crumbled up the bacon she made and added it to the bean soup.

Pretty basic dinner tonight.
