What did yall do to get perma-banned?

I was on Hawkits list is what I did. I know for a fact that dude gave the mods a list when this went down and they did him a favor.
I was going to say you’ve greatly overestimated Hawkit ... but on reflection I guess if we accept there was a “list” in that weird alternate universe then having that guy as the mastermind behind anything is just as sensical as placing anyone else behind the curtain. 😁

Honestly, I think it was all akin to Lemony Snicket's Series Of Unfortunate Events. Shit happens. I don't even care to look for a scapegoat any more.

Here is my biggest issue with Rivals:

They banned soundoff members for posting questionable content on a forgotten board. Yet, here is a prominent board for High Schoolers that they are using as a dump for the worst villainy and scum from the main board to post racist, political and harmful content. I would love love love to have Greg Ladkey, or her boss, tell me why this is okay.

This is exactly why the PM is nothing more than a scapegoat. I detest hypocrisy.

  • I've been banned there atleast 30 times. Once I even posted a gif of 2 guys butt fucking. Then I come back to find out the cream of the crop of rivals has been perma banned. LMAO, I couldn't believe it.

To answer your question, personally, I posted this email string with some punk assed bitch who happened(s)? to be in charge. My philosophy from day 1 was poster first, mod second. Through this I maintained my integrity, and for the few who saw it before it was deleted knew it. Only posting it now so that those who missed its brief appearance know... Maybe AR got a pay job out of it. Who knows or cares at this point...

    Why are they IP banned?

Company policy. Many more are coming.

Anyone (user or moderator) using a dead/slow forum on our network to post off topic material on a site they are not registered is subject to full banning. Rivals believes there is zero reason for anyone other than TCU fans to be there (and TCU opponents' fans there to talk sports related topics). The TCU Football forum was clearly being used for other reasons.

    Zero tolerance policy on this.

Adult or clearly offensive material - that goes without saying, and some of that was going on too.

Appreciate your prompt response. The participants were a virtual Who's who of the soundoff board, by invite only, myself and other mods included. Perhaps you can find a better solution than "zero tolerance"

Our only action forward will be to make sure the key participants (users and moderators) are banned.

Again, zero tolerance for this. That will not change.

Done in ignorance as opposed to willful disregard of rules not made available. Heavy handed on your part. Been modding longer than you have ever heard of Rival's I'll bet, and was unaware of such a rule.

You mean people need to be told they can’t start threads with porn in it and can’t encourage others to post in it? Are you saying we need to spell that out for people?

    Good to know
