What incoming transfer do you think makes the biggest impact in the 2020 season?

Run Pod Option (a fifthquarter podcast, find your feed and subscribe here.) did an episode that just released his week (3/10) on the topic. Some of those names? Feleipe Franks, Coy Cronk, Devon Williams.....

We invite you to take a listen and let us know who you agree or disagree with! What players did we miss, what incoming players for your team (recruiting or transfer) are you most excited about for 2020?

You can find, download, and subscribe to the Run Pod Option on any platform you listen to podcasts (iTunes, Spotify, Google, etc etc)

I hope I’m wrong, but D’Eriq King at Miami could be a problem.

I still think Miami has some work to do with that offensive line. Last season Lashlee did some good things to move Shane around, but I imagine there will be a *lot* of motion & if you're a team that has speed on the edges & at LB I think King can be contained.

Pretty much the only one it could be for us is Joey Gatewood (QB from Auburn) if Terry Wilson can't get fully rehabbed. We also have a DB from LSU that looks to be very legit, but he's going to have to break into an already good secondary. So, we'll see I guess is my round about answer.....lol

I'd love to see Terry Wilson bounce back and have a great year after the injury - but if Gatewood is the backup plan I'd say (especially with how well UK handled injuries at QB last season) y'all should be just fine!

You and me both regarding TW. I'm not sure yet if Gatewood is the backup plan this early in the spring (especially considering he's not cleared yet, but that's looking more and more likely). QB2 (spring QB1) right now is most likely Sawyer Smith. He did play pretty well until he got hurt, but he's not anywhere near as mobile as Wilson or Gatewood. It's just nice to know we're going into the spring with 4 healthy QBs not even counting Wilson!!

But King makes use for a Bad O-alone. That’s kinda his thing. Miami is still a question mark at a lot of spots, but it King is anything like his KB/Houston days, then they’re gonna be tougher than people think. Let’s also not forget their other transfer, Quincy Roche. That’s another dude who can make a big impact for them on an already strong D-Line.

Tre' McKitty. TE grad transfer from FSU. I think before the season is over, he's gonna have a huge year for UGA.

What ya thinkin about your QB from Wake? (I know he was mentioned in the podcast, but curious what a Dawg thinks) I've seen opinions all over about what things are gonna look like with him.

I think the potential is there for him to earn that Vegas ranking as the 3rd most likely to win the Heisman. His downfield passing was very impressive last year in spite of the fact that he was surrounded by much lesser talent at Wake. His style of play and his strengths fit Monken's offense very well. It is gonna be interesting to see how quickly he can gel with the WRs, especially Pickens and Blaylock. I think McKitty could end up being his secret weapon moving the ball down the field, with incoming 5-star freshman phenom Darnell Washington at TE being a TD machine inside the red zone at 6'8".

^^That's hoping for the best and seeing the potential, but honestly.....I'm reserving judgement. Last time UGA got a grad transfer QB from the ACC it was a horrible experience.
