I guess going to these hs sporting events got me thinking. Hs mascots are so generic. We were the Yellow jackets. Was at a vb tourney last weekend and i think 18/20 teams were tigers, lions or bears oh my..
 
Bulldogs ... I know what yer thinkin, "I've never seen a Bulldog mascot before." Well think again. Since high school, I have seen several "institutions of higher learning" copy my high school mascot. smh.
 
Went to two different high schools. Both in Mishawaka.

First one was the Penn Kingsmen. Same colors as Purdue. They have basically every football record you can have in Indiana.

Second one was Mishawaka Cavemen. They have the same colors as Miss State. One of the only schools in the country with that mascot.
 
Something you buy at a gas station on the way to a girl's house that was the one to respond to your 20 "you still up" texts you sent 30 mins prior.

Theres a town here in the area named Kuna. They are the Kavemen. There's a large cave nearby that used to be a high school kids drinking area. Last time I was there it was a mess - graffiti, old beer cans and trash and smelled like piss. Sad too because its a pretty cool cave.

My mascot in HS was the Eagles. My senior year was the last year we won the State Championship, when Jake Plummer was our QB.
