What was your dinner tonight.

How does it compare to Taqueria El Cazador? I've tried their "taco truck" on Governors (not sure it's there anymore) and the one towards Athens as well as the drive through here in Madison off 72 and have never been disappointed. I hear they have a restaurant somewhere off South Parkway that is even better than the "trucks".

I'm on a diet and all this food talk is keeeeeling me, haha!!
If I eat any more freaking rice... well, I will, but still, this is
not fun! Neither is being fat tho...

Quit eating rice. Stick to high protein, low carb foods. Eat a big breakfast early. Breakfast turns on your metabolism after it has slowed down during sleep. Walk as much as you can. (Understanding your health problems, I know that's a big question mark for you, but still....as much as you can.)

I have a 'bum' shoulder and my back is all screwed up. I think if I lose weight,
a lot of my back issues will go away. I was never a breakfast person, but I've
got to try. It's my favorite meal, and I could have it for lunch and dinner. Yard
bird is another thing I can eat a ton of too, haha! When we meet again... there
will be a lot less of me.

ODD had good advice. Low carb. Heck, try the keto thing for 3 months. Its an easy diet to stick to because all the food is very tasty and filling. Give me a buzz and I'll fill you in more.
 
Keto or LCHF is where it's at. Mix in a 24 hour fast to get your body in ketosis and stay under 30g carbs per day. Lost 50 lbs last year doing this. Will generally do 16:8 eating window as well.

Biggest issue for me was beer so switched to whiskey but certain ones contain high sugar volumes which your body turns into carbs. Some people go through keto flu the first couple days and feel sluggish but when you come out of it you have tons of energy

50-60 is my target, and I've been looking at the Keto. It looks like the way to go for the
way I eat. That's awesome you lost 50! Good job! Next year, I will say the same, hell, not
even that far out. The first 15 will melt... it's the rest that's gonna suck, haha! Hitting the
gym again too, for cardio. They want to filet my shoulder... ehhh, maybe, mayyyybe!

Once you see the results, you'll be hooked. I slacked around the holidays but getting back in the grove now.
 
Broke out the Cast Iron last night for Streaks, first time use of it so it needs some more breaking in. Did some side mushrooms and Air Fryer Fries. Not a bad Sunday.
