What is the worst loss your team has ever taken that was absolutely devastating and you still feel it to this day....... As a WVU fan, the 2007 Pitt upset is the obvious choice. If I had to choose another I would pick the 2012 loss at Texas Tech. WVU was 5-0, ranked #5, and was coming off a thrilling night win at Texas. We were the talk of college football and Geno Smith had all the Heisman hype. We strolled into Lubbock and were completely blindsided and blown out 49-14. I remember being so shocked that I contemplated life that day and had to go for a walk to clear my mind.......lol.....

You gonna be around for a while? For UGA it's hard to pick one because there have been so many. 2012 SECCG versus Bama. 2017 NCG versus Bama. 2018 SECCG versus ....you guessed it.....Bama. That's just the recent ones. Let's go back to 1982 for the Sugar Bowl versus Todd Blackledge and Penn State. #1 Georgia was undefeated and looking at another national championship versus the #2 Nittany Lions. It was a heartbreaker. How about 1981 when UGA was #2 for the Sugar Bowl against Pitt. With a win, UGA potentially could have won back to back Nattys. Dan Marino threw the game winning TD for Pitt with 35 seconds to go.

Todd Blackledge and Dan Marino can still kiss my ass.

You forgot the 2008 Blackout game vs Alabama…😝

For me, The “Camback” game against Auburn, the “kick-six” game against Auburn, and the blatant pick play that wasn’t called against Clemson that cost Alabama another National Championship. Can’t forget Ezekiel Elliott walking through the Bama defense, and all they could do is swing their purses at him. Cost another Natty.

I wouldn't say ND has died. They consistently have double-digit win seasons and have made many big time bowl appearances

I understand it looks insane for many programs, but consistent 10 win seasons seem to be inadequate for some programs. UGA fired Mark Richt for being the winningest HC in program history....simply because he never won it all.

When he got to Miami, Donna Shalala was still president of the University. Miami's problems mirror the problems in Austin for the University of Texas. You figure out what I mean by that, but I'm speaking truth.

She was gone by then.

Most would think App State, but the loss to OSU in the #1 vs #2 game was worse. The OT loss where it looked like OSU may have been short was another. The blocked punt vs Sparty and the drubbing by ND that had been the chicken game. The recent 45-14 made up for that one.
I live in Columbus, Ohio and I truly believe J.T. Barrett was short on 4th down and Michigan should have won that game in 2016
