received an email last nite -
two of the dudes from a meeting yesterday
tested positive this mornin -
one vax'd with a recent booster (my age)
the other un-vaxed (30s) -

if yall dont hear from me next week,

I've been sick since Saturday. While it hasn't been fun, I've been much sicker. Basically I feel drained of energy, body aches, respiratory congestion, sore throat and slight nausea. Finally feel a bit better today.

good to hear yer doin better -
both of the guys had mild allergy-like symptoms,
altho the guy my age lost his sense of smell,
which prompted him to get tested last nite -
the other, who probably brought the virus back
from a seminar in Houston
barely has any symptoms,
and tested positive this mornin -
the other dudes are getting tested today -
they all office together, so they may have it also,
but without symptoms -

as i understand, its a 3-5 day incubation period,
so it'll be Christmas for the 3-day window for me -

They’re re-locking down the world over the common cold. Won’t stop smash-n-grab mobs or migrant caravans but they’ll damn sure make sure you boost up, show your papers and wear a new mask if you want to enter a coffee shop.
