Nix takes issue with no-call

Following Saturday’s game, Nix complained about a no-call on fourth-and-goal from the 4-yard line. Nix attempted a pass to receiver Ze’Vian Capers with Latavious Brini in coverage. The officiating crew did not throw a penalty flag on the play.

Nix thought the play should have been flagged for pass interference.

“We had a chance in the back of the end zone,” Nix said. “(Brini) completely grabs (Capers). I thought it should have definitely been a pass interference. It’s just stuff like that we don’t ever get (called by the officials). It changes the game. Obviously, if that would have been (Georgia), they probably would have called it.”

Bo Nix is always running around like he’s got sand in his vagina. Who gives a fuck what he thinks. You never hear that pussy complaining when his receivers push off every play and never get called for it. Screw him.

Bo Nix is prolly just mad at UGA.

In Saturday's 34-10 win, Georgia ended Bo Nix's streak of 256 passes without an interception when Nakobe Dean picked him off. In 2020's 27-6 UGA win, Mark Webb ended Bo's streak of 251 passes without an interception.

IMHO there was pass interference on that play but that is only half the story and none of the context. The refs can call ticky-tac hand fighting as PI any time they choose and I have seen games where it happened. The refs in this game were consistent with allowing hand fighting and called the game fairly. I would much rather see a officiating crew let the guys play ... Bo was dead wrong on this.

I'm just glad Finley didn't get the start. I think it could have been a different game. Bo Nix is easy to beat. Keep him in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm.

He is. I really don't understand why he is still the starter because he cannot allow for plays to develop. I would much rather have a QB that can operate the offense than one that refuses to. I can't tell you how many times there were receivers open on seam routes in time for a three step drop and fire. That is not counting the double move routes that he has no patience to read. IMHO he is masking his inaccuracy.

And for what it's worth, I still think the refs blew that call. The ball was knocked loose before his arm moved forward. It should have been a sack/fumble like it was called on the field. But I understand that one call doesn't change winning or losing by 24 points. When you are simply outmanned on the field, just say that and go back to practice with more determination.
