The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Getting soaked isn't fun when it's cold like that. A long time ago my brother and I were catfishing in a creek just off the river where another tiny creek dumped into the bigger one. The little one had warmer water as it was fed from field tile and the shad were schooled up at the mouth. The cats were gobbling up shad and we were having alot of fun catching them. My brother tied into a big one and I went to help him land it, slipped and went straight in. It was cold, below 30, there was ice on the calm water, I climbed out and by the time I got to the truck my carhartts had ice on them.
I did that once when I was about 8, cept I was seeing how far I could walk out onto the ice, one February in Alabama, ice was maybe a half inch, I found out how far I could go 😂 🤬

Was ice fishing with a couple friends and we were walking along and all of a sudden one of them disappeared then shot back up, we helped him get back on the ice and he took off running the half mile back to the truck. He was cold. There are springs dumping into that lake and he hit one.

I must have been doing it wrong. We went ice fishing in NH several times but never got past the point of unloading the cooler. Come to think of it, I am not sure if that really was a frozen lake ...
