Everyone should be a Dawg fan tonight. If for no other reason, for my Mama. She told me Saturday night that she cried when UGA lost the SECCG. At 75, she's literally been a Dawg her entire life. In her early teens, she was a cheerleader for the Wheeler County Bulldogs. She had tears in her eyes when she told me that if her Dawgs didn't win the Natty tonight, she was scared she would never see it happen.

The grandfather of the dawgs QB was Richard "Buddy" Bennett. He was QB for the Gamecocks in 1959, averaging 5 yards a carry. He helped the Gamecocks beat the Fran Tarkenton led dawgs to their only loss of the season, this denying the dawgs a shot at the championship.

Bad karma in the air, me thinks.

I'm thinking georgia fan's aspire that he will right a wrong.

Do I need to go back and tag y'alls posts in the SECCG thread? Both of you were worried as hell prior to the game. I had confidence and wasn't worried. Shoe's on the other foot. Just sayin...
