What are we drinking tonight?

So talk to me people
Made the hour and half drive to my boy’s today and got a lot done on his new (old) house.

Due to working Super Bowl riot patrol late Sunday night/ early Monday morning he was living off 2 hours sleep yesterday and didn’t get the chance to go out with his lovely wife.

So this evening I’m watching grandkids while they are out. Currently watching cartoons while enjoying some Bulleit.

I like bulliet rye. Pretty darn good. Riot patrol really sounds like no fun. Good on you for watching the kids for them so they can go out. We went up to Williamsburg on Friday for a cattlemen's valentines day thing, had prime rib and listened to a band that played quite a good bit of Charlie daniels and Hank Williams junior. Good band

@Copejunkie on my bucket list is a plan when the misses retires to hit SEC country in the fall and make our way to ND game before heading back to Cali.

Plan is to catch as many Saturday college football games as possible and if possible, enjoy a cup of coffee or drink with as many 5Q crew along the way as possible.

This will naturally land me in your neighborhood, so a visit is very likely. Love Iowa every time I’ve been there. Family scattered all over that beautiful state.

When that time comes look me up. Will look forward to it. If we are in the field will give you a ride in the combine as well.

So very accurate! Funny, I don’t go in that water now but in my younger days I couldn’t afford a wet suit. My white ass body would come out of the water a frozen blue back in the days. Young and dumb.

Young, dumb, and drunk, me and a few guys jumped into the water up in Monterey way back when. We got out....and sobered up....in a damned hurry.

Learned my lesson and stayed out of it when I ended up at Pendleton years later.

My boy was playing some of grandpa’s old Hank Williams vinyl LP’s earlier.

Monterey is even colder than So. Cal. I bet you sobered up quickly.

You need to see a game in kinnick. It is electric when a big game is town. But there is nothing like 14500 people screaming in Carver hawkeye arena for a wrestling meet at the top of their lungs. The intensity is off the charts. It's been so loud there that it's rung my ears.
