Knee pads with casters are a must for that. Again, I work like I play baseball ... if it's between knee and chest level I might take a swing at it.OK......too vague. What ya putting in and what's the method/application? (edit....sorry, missed wood when I read it. Still tho, nail down, on concrete sub floor, etc?)
I actually enjoy doing flooring.....except carpet.....fuck laying carpet.
Entire second floor, bamboo, dark and distressed, floating floor, on the highest dollar backing available.OK......too vague. What ya putting in and what's the method/application? (edit....sorry, missed wood when I read it. Still tho, nail down, on concrete sub floor, etc?)

I swore I would never do any flooring myself again. I have a bad neck, and it hurts when I'm looking down for too long. Going to take my time, and do a room at a time.Knee pads with casters are a must for that. Again, I work like I play baseball ... if it's between knee and chest level I might take a swing at it.

This is the waterproof bamboo laminate I installed. It’s tougher than a woodpeckers lips. It cuts well with my sliding compound miter saw, but goes through blades like a drunken sailer goes through his paycheck. Just don’t try to cut it too fast and you’ll be fine.Stairs look nice, bro. I would also be totally down with the pacing plan you are on. One room at a time (at my body's age....which is probably at least a bit older than my actual age) sounds like the perfect plan.
How is bamboo to work with....as far as cutting it? Never have worked with that material.

Thank You! And yes, that’s what I was talking about. Let the blade get to full speed, and cut it slow. They also make a cutter for laminate, but I’ve never used it.Looks really nice (as does the fire place).
My thought was that it might splinter as hard as it is. I'm guessing that's what you're talking about when you say don't go too fast......
