The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Stairs look nice, bro. I would also be totally down with the pacing plan you are on. One room at a time (at my body's age....which is probably at least a bit older than my actual age) sounds like the perfect plan.

How is bamboo to work with....as far as cutting it? Never have worked with that material.
The treads were rock hard. Like more dense than @tinp 's skull. I have to take those to my father in laws new Yankee workshop and cut those. We also used dado blades to notch out the bottom edge to accept led light straps.

The flooring planks aren't too bad at 3/16" thick. The treads are a solid 1 inch thick, no filler, not pressed saw dust. The flooring is about half and half.

At least you know that stuff is gonna last forever.

Indoor lighted stair treads. Nice move!

I try to do everything myself. Dad (high school drop out) always said: “if a kid with a high school diploma can do it, I can too.” Although I don’t know if I could pull this off. Well done.

ps: I should add dad dropped out of HS to join the Marines. He eventually went back to high school and got his diploma. Different times.

I'm a Good Enough Diploma guy. Dripped out and went to work my junior year.

This cow just walked away from the feed bunks while I was feeding. The only reason she would do that is because She is going to have a calf very soon.
Such a fascinating behavior. Some of my best memories are of walking the pastures with my dad looking for birthing cows and then sitting quietly in the lovegrass until the calf was delivered, good times.
