Hahahaha, no the calf's number (she's a heifer) will be 43 to keep it simple to match them up, if I were to keep the calf as a replacement heifer next spring it would get a new tag and her number would be 2243. But I won't be keeping her as a replacement because her mother has an attitude problem, and they tend to pass that on.
