The new and improved Good Morning thread!

I hate saying this but I'm tired of rain. If it would stay dry for 2 weeks straight, rain an inch, then be dry again for another 2 weeks field work in this area would be done. At least we had 3 days this week we could get annhydrous on. Still need 2 more days to finish that. My dad needs at least an entire week of dry weather to get his hog manure applied yet too on a field before it's planted.
 
Good morning everyone. Spent yesterday removing a double window and rebuilding it duo to rot. I had to fabricate a new sill from a 2 x 8, Then had to make a new sill plate and then paint, reassemble, and rehang the window. For the record, hanging a window that’s 78” wide by yourself is a major pain in the ass. . After hanging the window, I had to replace all the trim inside and out. I’m sore as hell today, and may not get off the damn couch except to get more coffee and take a piss.

Creative use of sawhorses, wedges, etc is the only way I could do it. Once I had it roughly in place I nailed some 2x4’s across the sides to hold it upright while I shimmed and leveled it.

If our roles were reversed, I would be posting right now how I am explaining to my kids that the huge hole where the window was is the new air conditioning system I came up with.
