Damn dude! I knew I hadn’t seen you! Glad you’re ok!Sorry about missing a couple of mornings everyone, just had an interesting couple of days. I went to the ER yesterday morning ... turns out to be pancreatitis ... I thought it was a heart attack. After seeing the ER docs, I was admitted about 1000 yesterday morning and stormed out after spending over 30 hours in that room without seeing a doctor, eating or drinking, or getting any diagnosis/status updates on my tests and treatment plan for my in patient stay. 3 hours after my nurse called the doctor, he had still not responded. I told the nurse that I was leaving AMA, get the form. When she went for it, I took off my heart monitor and removed the IV and was packed and dressed when the nurse got back. I am going to go by there in the morning and get a copy of the medical records and go drive until I see a hospital not named Ballard Health. BTW, I haven't had coffee in two days and have already filed initial complaints with the county health department, the state medical board and am putting together a complaint for the most worthless regulatory entity, the Joint Commission.

Thanks a lot for the info. Right after I typed that post, my BP spiked again to 202/110 so I loaded my fat ass up and went to the VA ER. I didn't want to be like many of my family that laid down because they weren't feeling good and never woke up. The VA got the CT scans and test results from the hospital I left earlier and said they saw no indication of pancreatitis. They treated my BP and sent me home to follow up with my PCP. I may end up in-patient somewhere this week for testing and will let y'all know. I was going to post from my phone ... I just bought my first smartphone since the Blackberry debacle of 02 ... but it had been so long since I logged in manually that I didn't get the password right. I got it now though.aiight bats,, be careful, leaving the hospital AMA like that might make your insurance no good... check that out before you have a huge bill... might be too late... I hate fucking doctors and hospitals,, but if you need some treatment or medicine,, get itlll the world needs you in itl. as fucked up as you are,, believe it or not your one of the good guys, and we need as many as we can get... praying for you,, I hope everything works out.. ]
Damn dude!!! Good thing you got to the er right away instead of hard heading it. But 202/110? Jeezus that was close. Take care of yourself man and positive vibes sent. Thanks a lot for the info. I know a little bit about that, I was struggling with my BP about a year ago with numbers similar to yours,, I'm on 3 different BP meds now and my numbers stay good as long as I take the meds.. between that and getting diagnosed with Diabetes motivated me to lose 70 pounds during the last year..Thanks a lot for the info. I got up to 320 and had a host of medical issues ... Then I lost down to 230ish I was able to come off of all my meds, including insulin and my CPAP and maintain great bloodwork numbers all around. I put on about 30 pounds in the last two years and my body is letting me know that I need to lose it and start getting more exercise again. I am contacting my PCP this morning and will probably be going back into the hospital for testing to find out the cause of this episode but I am very hopeful that losing weight will be the key to treatment.I know a little bit about that, I was struggling with my BP about a year ago with numbers similar to yours,, I'm on 3 different BP meds now and my numbers stay good as long as I take the meds.. between that and getting diagnosed with Diabetes motivated me to lose 70 pounds during the last year..
