So, my house doesn't exactly have a front porch. I'm thinking about screening in that little cove there. Giving a space for my to put two fold out chairs, for me and my wife to sit and have some drinks. Without worrying about mosquitos and some privacy. Good or bad idea? Plus a nice little speaker.

Small place but I would make it cozy.

Well, it’s your home- you’ll live with and love or hate it. Do what you want.
That said if you’re just generally fishing for opinions for a front yard relaxing recreational area, I’d do it differently. Were it mine (and it’s a nice house) I’d do either a side porch or a front yard gazebo.

The gazebo is what my dad said, but I would want something attached to the house. I know that sounds crazy but just something about that aspect.

A side porch is definitely an option. Thinking about doing some artificial grass in a certain side section of the house though.

If you do it, pay extra and make it match the current architecture of the windows. So a radius door top, with similair slats, to match or get close to what is inside the glass. Even the garage doors have arched and "sash" style inserts. Personally I would do a silver/gray screen and white framing/slats. Or dark screen with silver/gray framing.

Never underestimate the relaxing environment of an inflatable pool, OP.

Very nice house! Just first look, I thought of a barn door made to look like one half of your garage door, that you could slide over across your opening? I personally prefer back yard spaces, and you look to have some trees back there on your property line??

So actually I'm on a one acre plot in a neighborhood. My neighbor behind me put up a privacy fence, while I left some trees in the back. Win win for everyone!

If you are not too attached to the window as it is, you could replace the bulk of the window with French doors ... and add a glass enclosed breakfast nook/sunroom on the front of the house and be able to enjoy it in all weather. If you are attached to the window, you could leave it and put a door anywhere you choose along the front of the house or even enclose the front door within the sunroom. TBH I suck at design and am just trying to spark an idea for someone else. Good luck!
