Question... Do you think that a person currently holding office should be able to run for president (or even a higher office)?
Here's a few of my thoughts: Since Rep and Senate jobs are currently approached by holders of those offices as full time jobs (they weren't intended to be originally), how can they justify all the time on the campaign trail while holding a full time job? Maybe give them a point in time to declare, test the waters and then decide if they want to commit to either campaign or continue their commit to their constituents? Just a thought I had.... We need more traction in here....
