If you think Stetson Bennett is old, this quarterback will definitely shock you.
North Texas quarterback Austin Aune has reportedly entered the transfer portal. Aune is 29 years old and will turn 30 next season as a grad transfer.

Aune is a former Arkansas signee and spent the spring of 2018 with the Razorbacks. Prior to that, he spent 6 seasons in the New York Yankees organization after being taken in the 2012 MLB First-Year Player draft.
Aune is originally a 3-star prospect who signed with TCU in 2012 before deciding on baseball.
Despite being older than any other college quarterback, Aune put up big numbers in 2022, recording 3,547 yards and 33 touchdowns

With starting quarterback Aidan O’Connell set to graduate from Purdue after this season, Card will likely get the chance to compete for the starting job next season.

Many around the college football world seem to believe that this is the perfect situation for Card to grow into a star.

“Telling you now: Purdue wins the B1G West in 2023 with Hudson Card as QB1. They landed one of the best young coaches in the game with Ryan Walters, and a QB with the potential to put up monster numbers in Graham Harrell’s offense,” tweeted Cole Thompson of Fan Nation.

Looks like the secret got out.

Sam Hartman will be transferring to ND barring some major happening and will be announced after the bowl game. Freeman and Co. have been trying to keep this quiet during bowl prep to not make it something that the media is bothering the ND starting QB with.

There was a ton of interest from both sides. And a lot of QBs reached out to ND. But this seems to be the guy that they are going with.

I'm not terribly upset with it. Yes he is a system QB. But I think that is exactly what ND is needing right now with their QB room in the situation it is. Technically speaking. There isn't a QB on the roster that has won a college football game. And again just going by numbers. There is only 1 QB on the roster right now that has started a college game. And he is 0-2. So need someone there that has real game experience and can be dynamic.

I've watched a few of his games this year. Dude is the real deal. He's got a helluva arm and his football IQ is through the roof. I had seen the rumors, and frankly, I was hoping they were true. ND is gonna put him on the main stage. He deserves the nationwide recognition. He's an absolute baller.

There are things I do and don't like about him. I don't know how much of that is him vs the system he is in. I pray he leaves that stupid slow mesh crap at Wake.

I do expect to see him as a starter next year. I hope I am wrong. But I think the game has passed our current QB 1 by.

He just became the best RB on your team.
SC definitely has depth at RB. When Dye went down last season it was rough. I really like Raleek he is electric should get more touches as a sophomore but he’s more of a utility RB. Jones is coming back one more year.Peterson and Joyner are coming in as freshman. I’m definitely going to watch some highlights of Lloyd thank you ODD.Excited to see Lloyd

Marshawn Lloyd transferred from SC to Sc I haven’t got to see him play any insight from the SC fans here @Tenn"cock @RuffledFeathers ?

Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed, IF he stays healthy. His first year he tore his ACL in practice and we lost him for the season. He did come back and played well showing at times great speed and elusiveness. I think if he continues to stay healthy you will definitely be happy with his production.

Ditto, if health holds up, you will NOT be disappointed. Very highly rated out of high school. He tore his ACL in preseason and missed a year. Now that our passing game has finally opened up deep, the opposing linebackers will be backing off the line and opening up lanes for the RBs. On paper, Marshawn was about to get more open lanes, not sure what happened to have him look elsewhere.

Thank you both hoping he stays healthy. Sounds like he has the potential to put up some big numbers in the PAC.

SC got Jack Sullivan from the portal yesterday. Hoping for Anthony Lucas but that looks like a dogfight

Anybody know more about this 5* transfer from UNC than the article says? His numbers are less than impressive. Head case? Wrong system? Over-rated out of HS?

That UNC defense was AWFUL. I mean just terrible. Which is wild seeing how their DC is Gene Chizik making over 3 million a year. And you would think at some point in the season ole Mack Brown would have got the leash on him really tight. I mean they gave up 5576 total yards and almost 300 passing yards to our back up QB at their place. And that was the high water mark for him all season.
