Walking through Manhattan after the election with MAGA hats on
The reactions are priceless!
That city comes off as a freak show. This is why I hate New York.
They live like animals, and cannot fathom the existence of people that don't think like them. They never travel south of the Hudson. They're literally in the minority, and yet look at the incredulous looks, the looks of instant hatred or terror. They're bugs. A hive of bugs. That city comes off as a freak show.
A good friend of mine went to UM (Ann Arbor). That school has a majority of out of state students, mostly from the east coast, and from NYC and the burbs in particular. They live like animals, and cannot fathom the existence of people that don't think like them. I did my basic in NJ and those people would talk about going two exits down a turnpike like they were taking a major journey to a foreign country.A good friend of mine went to UM (Ann Arbor). I was introduced to one of those students. His parents had never been anywhere in the US other than NYC metro area and California until their kid attended UM. This was normal to them, as in, they were surprised anyone would want anything else.
Exactly! The snobbery is real.A good friend of mine went to UM (Ann Arbor). That school has a majority of out of state students, mostly from the east coast, and from NYC and the burbs in particular.
