Effing snow tomorrow night says the weather man. It was 75 today. That means a bunch more calves dropping with the weather change. That also means little to no sleep for me starting tomorrow.

Calves die with the weather change?

Big weather changes can cause cows to start going into labor. I used the word dropping in reference to calves being born. Its a common term here.
But having calves in mud and snow just makes things harder. Calves can't get warmed up after they are born.
