I'm across the bay from Mt. Spurr. With that said I've lived through three volcano eruptions so far ... Mt. St. Helens twice (WA state) and Mt. Redoubt (Alaska). What I learned from that is spray your vehicle off but do not wipe it or you can say 'goodbye paint job'.
