I saw this the other day and thought it was really cool. Also lends more credence to him being incredible.

Never piss off the pitcher, cook, doc, or the paymaster.
Mad Dog was one nickname, but he was very well known as "The Professor".Walter Johnson and Christy Matthewson have to be in this conversation. I'll go Ryan Express over Mad Dog Maddux of the two poll options available.
All I know is my Cincinnati Reds were headed back to the World Series in '95 after winning it in '90, and Maddux and you sonsofbitches knocked us out in the NLCSMad Dog was one nickname, but he was very well known as "The Professor".
All 3 won a Cy Young but Maddux separated himself by a long distance. Maddux is the only pitcher in MLB history to win at least 15 games for 17 straight seasons.[2][3] He also holds the record for most Gold Gloves by any player with 18.The GOAT pitcher is debatable.
What isn't debatable is that Maddux was part of the GOAT starting pitching staff.
Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz for years and years with usually a solid 4th pitcher as well.
Stunning only 1 championship during their era, as clearly the team of the 90s.
