Similar to many global businesses, we continue to navigate a challenging economic environment. As a result, we’ve made the difficult decision to increase the recommended retail price for PlayStation 5 consoles in the U.S. starting on August 21.

The updated recommended retail price for PlayStation 5 consoles in the U.S. are as follows:

PlayStation 5 – $549.99
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – $499.99
PlayStation 5 Pro – $749.99

I already have a PS5 so no worries for me!

BF6 build I'm putting together for one of my brother's co-workers after he orders the parts.

I've always have had good luck with Asus MBs, looks good overall.

I game on a PC so double that price and add a about four hundy more for mouse / keyboard & headset.

PC is the only way to go.... I have only bought one console and that was an xbox back when NCAA Football was first out. I have been gaming on PC's since I built my first 286 with a math co-processor.

I had a 286DX. It had a turbo button that jumped it from 25 to 33 Megahertz. IIRC, it was the first PC I had with an internal modem and I splurged by getting 4 meg of RAM.

Oh yeah I remember those "Turbo" buttons... I always thought that was crazy since my philosophy was/is make it go as fast it can go! Course they overclock chips now so... oh and the first hard drive I ever installed was an RLL 44 meg drive. Course the only difference between RLL and MFM drives was the low level encoding they used and the expensive controller card but getting that extra space on the drive was worth it. All my friends were so jelly!

I thought I was the shit. 😆

I thought it was proof that I had arrived.

You young whipper-snappers, I remember upgrading to a 186 and finally getting a floppy disk drive versus my previous tape drive. I skipped the 5 1/4" format and went straight to the new 3 1/2" format drives.

Heh... My first real pc was an XT. I was messing around with it one day making sure the daughter board was seated and apparently pressed down too hard and cracked the MB under the expansion slot. So, after explaining to my ex wife that unfortunately I was going to need to replace the MB ( much to her displeasure ) I went out and bought the 286 and just used my old XT case.... I must've rebuilt that thing half a dozen times. I had a 5 1/4 floppy and eventually a 3.5 floppy. There was so much room in that case I could have put two MB's in it.

Oh the good ole days.

Ouch!! Not a good day for you.

My first "computer" when I was a kid. Texas instruments was selling them off at $100 when they discounted them. You hooked it up toa TV. Got it mostly for the games. 4A dos was a pain. I had the arcade versions of Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Qbert, etc. I got the cassette loader for a couple of games, but never got the "voice simulator" thingy. You could use an Atari joystick with and adapter.
