LSU fans

Riley ran scared to USC because he wanted an easier play off path in the PAC. And actually ended up with a harder one now that they are in the B1G with twice the travel and ND every year in non conference.

Fun fact. There technically isn't another ND / USC game on the schedule as of today because of USC.

Kelly ran to LSU because he knew he was a fraud and wanted to get paid before he got canned. And tried to blame it on ND holding him back. Gotta admit I am still surprised Franklin got canned before Kelly though.

Fun Fact:

I believe you have been misinformed on the rivalry hold up. ND is holding up the rivalry. USC wants to continue but due to B1G scheduling they want the game in September. You know like how Washington/Washington State and Oregon/Oregon State moved theirs.

I won’t deny it, I like the scheduling now and my Thanksgiving weekend every two years spent tailgating.

Let’s make it an annual college football season kickoff in Las Vegas.

ND already moved the game way back when because it was previously played in November. The University of Spoiled Children said they wouldn't play that late in S Bend. And instead would only play it when ND is having mid terms if it is in S Bend.

Personally I hope the ND AD calls out SC and every excuse they make. The SC boosters obviously still want the game. And L Riley is looking for every excuse he can to pin walking away on ND.

You dont see Clemson and SCar moving their game. You dont see Georgia and GTech moving their game. And plenty of other examples. But here we are.

As I told people on disputes in my career. There are 3 sides to the story. Yours, theirs, and somewhere in the middle is the truth.

So let’s not pretend this is all on USC.
 
Don’t want to derail this thread, but congrats @Irishblooded on the win. A real head coach at USC would have won this game.

Riley is a genius at developing QB’s. That’s his ceiling but we are stuck with a learn on the job head coach. Between buyout and who’s out there, we are stuck with him.

I wish they would promote D’Anton Lynn to head coach, but i fear he is gone before the opportunity arrises.

ND did everything they could to lose. And found a way to grab victory. Proud of the ground game for that. CJ had a terrible night. I've never been a fan of Riley. He should be a OC in the league instead of a HC in college.

Have to admit with the way it was going we didnt hear more about the 20th anniversary of the Bush Push.
