Sources: LSU expected to hire Lane Kiffin away from Ole Miss

Sources told ESPN late Saturday that the expectation is LSU, a day after its regular season ended, will hire Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin, 50, on Sunday as its new coach and that the deal will cover seven seasons at an annual average of around $12 million.

Think Brian Daboll or Terry Smith gets the PSU job....

I say Smith will be the stop gap now until they find someone. Think the old time fans would be happy as he's a Paterno player.

I thought he should get a shot after the players rallied around him and they played better after he was named the interim HC.

And look at next season's schedule.....a bad Penn State team could win 6, maybe 7 games.....and yes I realize that isn't in PSU's "goals" so to speak.....but it's attainable. Heck, they could win 8. Schedule is that soft.
