The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Old plumbing and hard water don't like it when you change something. All I did was try to turn the water off to the washing machine. Now the hot water is running out of the stem of the turn off. So yeah, copper is going to become plastic.
For us, one of the previous owners didn't have a coupling so they used a T and capped an end. Now I might have been cussing the whole time, but I never judged them once we got to it. It wasn't a long crawl, but I might have used caulk and duct tape before climbing out and back in ...

Good morning and a happy new years everyone. I have to fix a water leak today, that I caused yesterday.
Two weeks before Christmas we discovered we had a hot water leak under our cement slab

Tear up cement slab at the point of the leak or re-route water line through the walls was our two options.

Decided to run a new water line through the walls since we are hoping to leave the house to the kids eventually.
