Seriously thought about hanging it up, but honestly, I have too much fun with you all. I'm in a city where I go to work and come home. I don't have many local friends who have survived. So i watch sports and fire up the message board.

Similar. My two lifelong best friends (and college roommates), my brother, my sisters and nieces and nephews all live in different cities. None of them are too far away but they're not here. I need to live here for work. Instead of going to some bar and talking shit, talking sports, telling jokes, etc with a crowd of regulars....ie what men would have done prior to the internet....I come to hang out with y'all and do that.

I've been on this board for years. One of the reasons I wasn't here more often is the place was just D-E-A-D. More life is what this board has desperately needed for a long time.
