Oh no offense was taken, as I say, I genuinely was curious. I don't want to come across as angry. In fact, I wonder sometimes if a punchline designed to come across as sarcastic or wry is interpreted as venomous. I use language precisely, but I cannot control the way it is delivered as I cannot control the tone in which it is read. But obviously, hearing that I am perceived as angry is something to consider and, find a workaround.

I don't know if there is a work around and quite frankly IMHO you don't need to worry about that either. How I perceive you is not a linear function that you can control because it is my preconceptions formed decades ago that determine it. IMHO the key is that once I recognize that, then the onus is on me to adjust and that is hard and frustrating. I understand what is happening and still repeatedly fail and that pisses me off even more. FWIW I believe that we could start a fire in the back yard, drag a cooler and grill up to it, listen to the Iron Bowl and have a blast with no real issues.

It's not about you as an individual as much as how the younger generations are always perceived by the elderly ones: brash, opinionated, loud and mostly wrong or naive. And your music sucks. With apologies to Georeg Bernard Shaw, we are but 2 peoples separated by a common language.

So you are claiming that God ended/broke the covenant with Abraham. Can you link the book, chapter and verse when God took the rights to Israel from them? So when God told Isaac "“And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land” he was kidding. When he told Moses, “And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD”, and just changed his mind. And there is going to be a third Temple ... you believe that the Palestinians are building that or perhaps God considers the land already the Jews?
