So I went to 5 guys yesterday.. Here's my mandatory report..
the first thing is the barrel of peanuts for standing in line and waiting for your order to be called..
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, small fries, and small drink = $17.90
there are many options for toppings, I ordered the standard all the way minus the pickles,, mayo lettuce tomato mustard ketchup grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. two beef patties cooked on a flat top and two pieces of cheddah cheese..
The Fries are fresh cut and always hot.. they dont fuck this up.. its a big deal.. they even have county of origin for the taters posted..
the small fries are put into a small cup, the cup placed in a bag and then another container of fries is poured into the bag.. the small fries alone will fill you up.. dont order the large unless 4 people are going to share.. I aint bullshittin here, and I'm a big ol boy.
I got Root beer with mine..
Malt vinegar is available for your fries and I highly recommend it... and ketchup of course.
Now this burger is wrapped in foil and I let it marinate while I ate the fries that didnt fit into the cup.. I used one of the boxes for peanuts to hold them and the vinegar..
this burger is thick.. you have to have to unhinge your jaw to take a bite.. maybe thats why some people dont say this is the best fast food hamburger.. they just cant get it in their mouth..

You can have your In and out with their jr burger size and little bitty fries..
