Wife calls me from work and says they are closing the dining room, going to drive thru service until further notice. For those that don't know, she is a manager for the local Burger King.

Anyways, she commences to telling me that corporate sent word today that colleges are closing until next year.....therefore, there will be no CFB season for 2020.

I came unglued. No CFB????? I'll kill a motherfucker.




BTW, take this for what it's worth.....it is, in fact, firsthand info from BK.

Seriously. My wife was adamant about the word from corporate. I started yelling, "THERE AIN'T NO FUCKING WAY!" She got mad at me. Yeah...it got ugly on the phone for a few minutes. I was all like, "Them people ain't got no fucking clue what they're talking about. If there was the slimmest possibility that CFB was cancelled, I'd already know." She was telling me, "Look, I'm just telling you what they said. Colleges will be closed until January."

4 year colleges/ universities in Nebraska have closed for the rest of the semester......so until May....
people hear closing for the rest of the “year” and assume January....🤔 We good....!

I tried to tell her that. "Next year begins in August". She was mad positive that she was told January. I finally gave up the argument and hit the webs. No way in hell this can be true, but she's still mad at me for losing my shit when she told me.
