Hell of a week so far....

First I have an Aunt that passed away this week, and the family can't even get together due to this damn plague, and I just found out my cousin and my best friend growing up had a massive heart attack. He's in critical condition in cardiac ICU. The hospital is locked down and his mom and dad can't even go to be with their possibly dying son. This shit needs to stop.

Out running around today and the news reported a lot of visitation is no longer allowed. If one goes in to be with someone they are there for the duration of the patients stay. No in and out.

Thanks for the sentiments guy's. I appreciate it, I really do! I wasn't looking for sympathy, we all have our share of effed up stuff to deal with, I was just venting. My cousin and I were best friends growing up. What really sucks is due to Hippa, the hospital can't tell me a damn thing, and due to covid 19 I can't go to the hospital to find out what the hell is going on. It's just frustrating as hell.

Just got a phone call. He survived the heart attack, (so far anyway...)and is in a medically induced coma, but he's still alive.

Medically induced coma is the only reason that @txTIGER1963 is still with us and recovering daily. With the overwhelming CV-19 panic, I'm worried that we won't see the medical world having the success that they normally would. Some people will die that shouldn't have.

Well, I just got the call. My cousin had a stroke in the hospital last night. They’re saying he’s basically brain dead. If he survives, he’ll be in a permanent vegetative state. My 85 yo aunt is inconsolable. She can’t even go to the hospital to see her son. This shit sucks.

I really don't know what to say. There could be nothing worse than losing a child except possibly seeing a loved one lose theirs. I will say a prayers for you, your aunt and cousin. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
