Serious Conversation: COVID-19 and College Football

Didn't read the whole thread, but....

This whole thing is overrated. It will be gone soon. Weak minded and herd mentality will fall for the hype.

There are no zombies, just sick people who die alone in isolation. No family visiting, no friends completely quarantined ALONE It is a horrible way for anyone to go or to see their family member go.

Zombies would be more fun for surel
It ain't that bad. At least on a global (national) level. Don't fall for the hype.

Hopefully it's gone before we have to delay or cancel the season. Right now I'm watching tornado season to get by.

Frankly, it's gonna be a close race. Right now, I'd guess we have maybe a 40% chance of having a CFB season. Just my opinion.

After 5-6 months of dealing with it, the numbers are finally starting to fall daily in China. At least that's what they're saying, so take it with a grain of salt.

I’m 60/40 no season. I think July 1st is an important date. If we’ve gotten to that point and this virus is still greatly unknown, the. I think we’ll see a cancellation. And, sadly, I think we’ll see the death of a lot of programs.

It's a damned national holiday. It's the day THIS GUY was born, and trade deadline too, haha!!

Listening to coaches and the talking heads. I think the line in the sand is July 1.
if they can’t have kids in strength and conditioning and sports medicine by that date. The season doesn’t happen. Both of those programs require 4 to 6 weeks to prepare for college level football.

The way this is going it is getting far easier to see a condensed to more of an exhibition season this year or. O season at all.

lets hope it doesn’t happen
