I'm just interested in cowboy history in general. My relatives came over on the Oregon Trail. Some went on to Oregon, some stopped in Idaho to ranch. Closest to famous relatives I have is my g-g-g-grandpa was best friends with William Cody when they were young. They burnt down my family's house because they were smoking under the porch.

That is awesome. Best I can tell my family ended up in Alabama after being kicked out of Mississippi. Ended up in Mississippi because of the four marriages and no divorces in Tennessee. We could have land, money, whiskey or women but only one at a time.
